Fora Financial review 2026: the revenue advance that prints its top factor rate

Fora Financial scores 3.6 out of 5 on our method: it prints both ends of its 1.13 to 1.50 factor rate range and fits owners with $240,000 in yearly sales who may pay early [1][2].

Afraid you will not know the real price until it is too late? Fora prints the range.

The scariest part of a revenue advance is not knowing whether your offer is fair. Fora Financial answers part of that in public: its factor rates run from 1.13 to 1.50, and early payback provisions can bring the factor rate down to as little as 1.05 [2]. If your offer sits near 1.50, you know you are at the top of Fora's own scale.

Fora also states when it will file a UCC lien and when it removes one: it ends the filing once the agreement reaches a zero balance and all pending debits clear [2]. That gives you a written promise to hold it to.

One caution. Fora's revenue advance page often uses loan wording [1]. A revenue advance is a purchase of future receivables priced by a factor rate, so read the contract title before you sign.

3.6/ 5
CriterionWeightScoreWhy
Cost disclosure20%4.5Both ends of the factor rate range, the early payback floor, an origination fee from 2.5% and daily or weekly payments are published [1][2]. The wire fee amount is not, which keeps this short of a 5.
Contract matches the quote15%3.0Fees taken at funding are named in public [2], and none of 48 organic reviews in our sample said the contract differed from the quote [8]. The 1-star filter shows a few owners whose renewal terms or approved amount changed from what was discussed [9].
Post-signing conduct25%3.5A written UCC policy ends the filing at a zero balance [2], Fora says it offers relief programs to clients who call it [2], BBB shows 4 complaints in 3 years [10], and we found no regulator action. The 1-star filter includes a UCC left after payoff and a payment not cut after a 50% sales drop [9].
Payoff treatment10%3.5No prepayment penalty, and early payback can lower the factor rate to 1.05, but only depending on your pre-approved offer [2]. One 1-star reviewer says an early payoff earned no discount [9].
Total cost15%3.0The published 1.13 to 1.50 range spans almost the whole 1.1 to 1.5 market range [2][11], so it lands in the middle, before the origination and wire fees.

Is it a fit for you?

It fits when

  • Your business brings in $240,000 a year or more and has been open 6 months [1].
  • You expect to pay the balance early and want a published path to a 1.05 factor rate [2].
  • You want to check your offer against a published top factor rate of 1.50 [2].
  • Your score sits around 570, the stated minimum for the revenue advance [1].
  • You have 2 or more years in business and want a monthly-payment term loan up to 12 years [3].

Look elsewhere when

  • You need to keep other financing open; Fora treats stacking as a breach of contract [2].
  • You want a line above $100,000; Fora's line of credit tops out there [4].
  • You are already behind on an advance; call Fora first and read our MCA debt relief guide.
  • You cannot handle money leaving your account every day or week; the revenue advance collects daily or weekly [1].

Our verdict: 3.6 out of 5

Fora Financial scores 3.6, mainly because it puts a ceiling on its price in writing and spells out its lien policy. Fora Financial, LLC is a New York company 18 years in business, accredited by BBB since 2011 [10]. Its revenue advance gives you up to $1.5 million now in exchange for a set percentage of daily or weekly revenue [1].

What decides it for most owners: the published range of 1.13 to 1.50, an early payback provision that can take the factor rate down to 1.05, and a strict rule against stacking [2]. If you can pay early and will not need a second funder mid-deal, Fora is one of the cleaner choices in this product. If either is unlikely, the clause matters more than the score.

Pros

  • Publishes both ends of its factor rate range, 1.13 to 1.50 [2].
  • Early payback can cut the factor rate to 1.05; no prepayment penalty [2].
  • Written policy for when a UCC is filed and when it ends [2].
  • Decision in as little as 4 hours, funds within 24 hours of acceptance [1].

Cons

  • Origination fee from 2.5% plus a wire fee with no published amount [2].
  • The early payback discount depends on your pre-approved offer [2].
  • Stacking any other financing is a breach of your agreement [2].
  • Its pages use loan wording for the advance, which blurs what you sign [1].

Products, amounts and who qualifies

Fora's core product is the revenue advance: up to $1.5 million, a term of up to 18 months and daily or weekly payments [1]. Fora also sells term loans, a line of credit and SBA loans, and lists equipment financing, receivables financing and invoice factoring [1]. The table shows what each product page lists.

Fora's FAQ puts the sales floor at $17,000 a month with a 570 FICO score [2], a little lower than the $240,000 a year on the product page. The small business loan and the revenue advance also share the same headline numbers [1][6]. Ask your rep which one you are being offered, because a loan and a purchase of future receivables are governed by different rules.

Cost, payment schedule and speed

Fora's factor rates run from 1.13 to 1.50 [2]. Multiply the amount by the factor rate for the payback: a $50,000 advance at 1.13 means $56,500, and at 1.50 it means $75,000. If you qualify for early payback at 1.05, the payback on the same $50,000 falls to $52,500 [2]. At funding, Fora takes a one-time origination fee that can be as low as 2.5% and a one-time wire fee, and it says that is all [2].

Payments are a set percentage of your daily or weekly revenue, so they rise in busy weeks and fall in slow ones [1]. The market range for advances is about 1.1 to 1.5 [11], so Fora's range covers nearly all of it; where you land depends on your file. Compare your offer with our offer comparer.

To apply, you fill out a short online form, a Capital Specialist calls you, and you get a decision in as little as 4 hours once your documents are in [1]. Funds arrive in as little as 24 hours after you accept the offer [1].

The UCC lien, the stacking rule and paying early

Fora says it may file a UCC lien based on what happens during the agreement: breaching it, stacking, shopping your file to other funders without telling Fora, stopping payments, a frozen or closed account, or three bounced payments in a row [2]. It terminates the filing when the agreement reaches a zero balance, is satisfied in full and all pending debits clear [2].

Stacking is a breach at Fora

Fora's FAQ says taking other financing while you have a Fora agreement violates your contract, whatever a broker tells you [2].

Fora also warns against debt settlement firms and says it offers its own relief programs and settlement options to clients who call it directly [2]. If you fall behind, call Fora before you sign with anyone promising to cut your debt.

Fora has no prepayment penalty, and depending on your pre-approved offer you may get a prepayment discount [2]. Ask whether your offer includes early payback provisions and get the payoff factor rate in writing. Fora's renewal team can review recent revenue and payment history and may offer better terms on a second round [2], but a 2-star Verified review in our sample says the second round came with worse terms than promised [8].

Complaints, reviews and the public record

We sampled the first three pages of Fora's Trustpilot reviews on Oct 21, 2026: 60 reviews, 46 Unprompted, 2 unlabeled and 12 Verified [8]. None of the 48 non-invited reviews described trouble after signing. Most praised a rep by first name, often the same few reps, and Fora's profile says it invites customers to review [8]. Fora replied to 100% of negative reviews.

The 1-star filter tells the rest of the story [9]. One owner says a UCC filing and a default report stayed after payoff. Another says payments could not be lowered after a 50% revenue drop. Another says Fora refused a payoff letter needed to refinance elsewhere. These are a small share of 1,121 reviews, but they are the issues to guard against: ask for a payoff letter early, and after payoff check your state's UCC records.

BBB gives Fora Financial, LLC an A+ with 4 complaints in the last 3 years [10]. We searched FTC releases, the New York and New Jersey Attorney General sites and news coverage and found no action naming Fora. The renewal team answers at (888) 221-6031, Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET [2]. Ask to be kept off partner marketing when you apply, since the privacy policy allows sharing with business partners [7].
