Who owns Business Funders
Business Funders is owned by Batch Group (Batch Group LLC). Batch Group runs two services that appear on this site:
- Batch Capital (Onyxx Media Group LLC d/b/a Batch Capital), a commercial financing broker. It is not a lender. The company funding your deal is named in your agreement before you sign.
- BatchOut (Batch Group LLC d/b/a BatchOut), which signs businesses up for card processing.
How Batch Capital earns money
Batch Capital is paid a commission when a deal it arranges is funded. You never pay us an application, processing or "priority" fee, and nothing is charged before funding. Where state law requires it, the funder tells you in writing how much the broker is paid and by whom before you sign. New York, for example, requires the funder to disclose "how, and by whom, the broker will be compensated."
How BatchOut earns money
BatchOut earns ongoing revenue, often called residuals, on the card processing accounts it signs up, including as a Square dealer. Whenever we mention Square, we say so next to it.
What this means for our comparisons
- Batch Capital and BatchOut appear in our comparisons. We show them in a separate, labeled "From the team behind Business Funders" card, not inside a ranking, unless they earn a place under our published method.
- Ownership and payment never change a score or the order of a list.
- No outside company pays to appear, rank or be reviewed on Business Funders today. If that changes, we will say so here and on every page it affects.
- Cost figures on this site are general, dated ranges with sources. They are never a personal offer.
- The quiz matches you to kinds of funding with fixed, published rules, and every results page shows the options side by side. Who earns money from an option is not part of the ranking. See how matching works.
What we will never do
- Sell your information, or send it to a list of partners.
- Suggest a new cash advance to pay off one you already have. Our matching rules set that option aside.
- Use countdown timers, "only today" offers or other made-up deadlines.
- Charge you a fee before you are funded.
If you think we broke one of these, tell us through our contact page.
What happens to your information
Your request goes only to Batch Capital or BatchOut. We never sell or share it without your OK for a specific funder or processor.
